Welcome to the SJN Prayer Wall!
It is a consoling and powerful truth of our faith that we can intercede for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Some “Prayer-Warriors” fast or make other sacrifices to as intercessory prayer for others. St. John Neumann Parish has a Perpetual Adoration Chapel, Prayer Network Ministry, Prayer Request column in the bulletin, and Prayers of the Faithful at Mass, which provide opportunities for communal intercessory prayer. The mission of this Prayer Wall is the same. Through e-mail the Prayer Wall provides another way for your prayer to be joined to the prayer of the Church, while at the same time allowing us to lift up one another’s’ intentions in prayer. You may request prayers for yourself and people dear to you, or for wider needs in the community or world.. We also welcome Thanksgiving Prayer requests, as these edify the Body of Christ and evidence the power of the Church’s prayer: “Whatever you ask in my name I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (Jn. 14:13).
We ask that you limit your request to no more than 200 words. Comments are not allowed, only requests for prayers. We will keep the requests confidential; however, we encourage you to provide a name or two. For example: “Pray for my children . . . . Requested by Marta,” or “Pray for my father John . . . Anonymous Request.” With a person’s name, group name or event name, the Community prayer becomes personal, yet remains confidential.
To send your request, click on the button below or send an e-mail to email@example.com.Your request will be submitted to an administrator for posting, then the request will appear on the wall and be displayed for a month. We reserve the right to edit the request, and if it cannot be posted for its content, we will inform the requestor.
We want to thank you for building up the Body of Christ through your prayers offered for each other! God bless you !
Let us pray for these requests:
Prayers for Denise as she and her family deal with her cancer.
Pray for sweet Amy Bortnick and those who love her.
I call on you right now in a special way.
It is through your power that (X) was created.
Every breath he/she takes,
every morning he/she wakes,
and every moment of every hour,
he/she lives under your power.
Father, we ask you now to touch (X) with that same power.
For if you created him/her from nothing,
you can certainly recreate him/her.
Fill him/her with the healing power of your spirit.
Cast out anything that should not be in him/her.
Mend what is broken.
Root out any unproductive cells.
Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.
Let warmth of your healing love pass through (X) body
to make new any unhealthy areas
so that his/her body will function the way you created it to function.
And Father, restore (X) to full health
in mind and body so that he/she may serve you the rest of his/her life.
I ask this through Christ our Lord.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine
O great St. Peregrine,
you have been called "The Mighty,"
because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God
for those who have had recourse to you.
For so many years you bore in your own flesh
this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being,
and who had recourse to the source of all grace
when the power of man could do no more.
You were favoured with the vision of Jesus
coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction.
Ask of God and Our Lady,
the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick
for whom you are praying)
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession,
we shall sing to God,
now and for all eternity,
a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
