United in the love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves as a welcoming Catholic Community:
  • To worship God in Word and Sacrament;
  • To learn, live and share our Faith;
  • To serve the vulnerable and poor among us;
  • And to reconcile ourselves with God and one another.

    At Saint John Neumann we are guided by Our Mission Statement which calls us to worship, live and share our faith together. We are a welcoming Catholic Community and invite all to worship, live and share their faith with us.

    Saint John Neumann is a diverse Catholic Community located in Montgomery Village, Montgomery County, Maryland. With approx. 1,600 registered families.

    Although a large community, we believe, we worship and share our faith together. We are a friendly, personable and compassionate Community, but also reverent and respectful of our Catholic faith and Catholic traditions.

  • We are a diverse community with members from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds including Hispanic, Southeast Asia and Africa. The Wall Mural that adorns our sanctuary depicts Christ as the Savior of ALL People. We believe diversity within our Community is a true reflection of Christ's universal message.

    We are an active Catholic Community. For example, we host Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration (24 hours per day, 7 days a week). We are also active in serving the poor and in defending the right to life.

    If you are a Catholic and new to our area, a Catholic who would like to rekindle their faith, or someone who would like to learn more about our faith and our Community, we welcome you to tour our website or contact our rectory office.

    You can find out more about how we are implementing our Mission Statement by reviewing our Parish Pastoral Plan.
