| Jesus invites each one of us to a deeper faith in Him and a greater participation in
His kingdom. Faith seeks understanding … and the more we know Him the more our hearts are set afire by love, and the more we seek to make Him known.
(from ADW website)
The Office of Religious Formation at Saint John Neumann exists to serve the needs of all parishioners who desire to learn more about their Catholic faith. We offer instruction in the faith for children beginning at age four, through adulthood, and share that faith through celebration of the liturgical life of the Church and the sacraments. Together with the priests and deacons, the director of religious education, and parish catechists serve as co-workers to give witness to the faith of the Church by instructing people of all ages.

| The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
is a program in which the non-baptized and baptized non-Catholics learn about the Catholic Church, and are led by experienced and dedicated Catholics on a
journey toward entrance into the Catholic faith. The RCIA program is also for those adults who were baptized Catholics, but who have not completed the other initiation Sacraments
of Eucharist and/or Confirmation. It is a process, a community event, ongoing and multi-dimensional that helps those in the program to better understand what the Catholic Church
believes and teaches.
Through the RCIA program, those who wish to embrace the Catholic Faith as their own are prepared for reception into the Church, usually at the Easter Vigil. Sessions are held during the regular school year on Monday evenings from 7:15 to 9:00 pm. Contact Deacon Bob Allen for more information and to register. |
